PROJECT BRIEF
I worked on an internal project to develop a top-of-the-line hardware wallet. After conducting a competitive analysis, it became evident that existing product offerings had a utilitarian and low-quality appearance that was unsuitable for a luxury demographic.
SKETCHES
I produced sketches quickly to investigate form factors and feasible manufacturing approaches for essential components.
RESEARCH
To capure the attention of the cryptocurrency users' target market, I devised a mood board that conveyed a luxury lifestyle aesthetic. The Seed wallet draws inspiration from the earthy tones of 1970s fashion, which correspond with the period when the United States Federal Reserve ended the gold standard.
FINAL DESIGN
The Seed cryptocurrency hardware wallet boasts a CNC copper metal chassis and a premium silicone interior. Its OLED touchscreen display enables users to carry out transactions effortlessly and without any inconvenience.
